STRIPVINE

Stripvine has joined bands like Foo Fighters, Seether and Godsrnack, bringing furious guitar attack, rhythmic beats and aggressive melodic vocals to modern hard rock.  In 1994, Rocky Mazzarella was the drummer in an alternative rock band. In that time, he was also writing and recording his own material that would later make up the band's New Debut CD.

When the EP was released, the response was stellar. "Mesmerizing energy, unbelievable hooks and intense vocals."(www.indiemusicreview.com) Soon the songs had over 73,000 downloads in just 3 months.  Two of those songs landed on the 2002 release of the Transworld Snowboarding video game for Playstation and Xbox.  This success also saw its place on the ASR Soundtrax CD from RavenUSA. Appearing on the CD's were The Vines, Tantric, Goldfinger, N.E.R.D, OK Go and Coldplay.  Finally, four more songs were featured on the DVD and nationwide TV show, H2O Winter Classic, which aired on FOX TV Sports Net.

However, after a few years, the band folded. Rocky continued writing, regrouped and later formed Stripvine.  Breaking down another batch of songs, Rocky stretched his songwriting by giving Stripvine a harder and more aggressive sound.  Following in the footsteps of artists like Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, Rocky played all the instruments on the next album as well.  The "Self Titled" EP was recorded within a few months and released it in the summer of 2004.  The CD instantly had people talking. "This is Hard Rock! Gets a hold of you and never let's go." (www.purevolume.com)  Immediately, songs made it to the PWC Racer DVD and Los Angeles KROQ's Local's "Summer List" radio show.

After a needed break, the next EP "Note To Self:" was released.  With a more energetic and popular mix, the EP was making a buzz. "I can't stop listening! This is what Hard Rock is all about." (www.itunes.com)  Soon the song "Blame On Me" landed on the new release of the XBike Mayhem DVD. Following the success, the song "Set Free" was featured for the trailer of the new 2009 Etnies Star National DVD.

Currently, the newest record "Unglued" is capturing the best response to date. "This record is the most diverse, creative and catchiest record yet!"   In only two weeks of it's release, the new record has generated outstanding reviews and newer fan base. "This is the best CD I have owned in a long time. Totally rocks!" (JasonBiez, Boston, MA)  “Stripvine has a fresh and unique sound that raises the bar of rock music." (HollywoodKid, Hollywood, CA)   Before the record was released, the song "Sight of Sound" was featured in the new Kawasaki Ad-spot for their new 250f and 450f motorcycle.  In addition, the song "Unglued" made the Top 20 of the popular New Jerseys' WSOU 89.5 Rock Radio Show.

With intense and distinct vocals, bashing, rhythmic drumbeats and heavy melodic guitar riffs, Stripvine has an unforgettable sound that captures the emotion of real hard rock.
